ホテルオークラの本館を建て替えると聞いてから、 何度か出かけました。 今回は、以前ホテルの方が薦めてくれた茶室。 ホテルの開業からさらに2年をかけて作られたもので、７階にあります。 このフロアは、１５年ほど前までは和室の続き間だったんだって。 その入り口に、この静かな空間がありました。 和室は、新しい建物にも建築するそうです。 いろいろなオーナメントには、六角形がつかわれています。 ランタン、ライト、それに火災報知器まで。 風水では、陰と陽のバランスを意味するらしい。 それと、 ロビーのテーブルとイスは、 紅梅と白梅を表しているんだって。 次のロビーも、このようなデザインを踏襲するとのこと。 After 52 years from the grand open, this gorgeous hotel has been serving for political meetings, cultural event, and wedding ceremonies, as well as general lodging of one of the highest quality in the world. The originally built building will be reconstructed soon, and people are visiting the hotel to remember the beautifully designed atmosphere with Japanese way of decollation. The theme seems Hexagon, which I found the shape of lights and other ornaments. |
